Maths Tutor and Physics Tutor

Angus Campbell, Maths Tutor and Physics Tutor

I am a qualified maths tutor and physics tutor with over 20 years of experience in providing private one-on-one tuition.

For the past decade, I have been teaching in Bristol, working with students from Gordano School, Clifton College, Bristol Grammar School, and Badminton School. Additionally, I have served as a lecturer in mathematics and physics at Bristol University and taught statistics and engineering mathematics at the City of Bath College.

I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a current DBS certificate, a BSc joint honours degree in Mathematics and Physics, and an MSc in Mathematics.

As a dedicated maths tutor and physics tutor, I offer tutoring for KS3, Nat5, GCSE, Higher, AS/A2-Level, and university-level courses. I also prepare students for professional exams, including the QTS numeracy test.

Currently, tuition is conducted online via Zoom or Teams, primarily on weekday evenings and weekends. My availability can be viewed on my booking calendar.

Here is some example feedback from of my students:

From Daniela: (GCSE Maths)

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for the tuition that you provided for Francesca, it gave her a real boost in morale and she felt that the assessment made more sense after her sessions with you too. Thanks again I would certainly recommend you to anyone else!

From Lynne: (National 5 Maths)

My son Ben (15) has been receiving maths tuition from Angus on the lead up to his nat 5 exam. Angus has been absolutely fantastic. Ben really responded to his style of teaching, he felt encouraged, willing to try and his confidence has massively improved. Angus was always on hand to reply to emails, give feedback and it was great to have homework tasks/copies of tutor notes. The biggest compliment I can pay Angus is that Ben never once moaned about having extra maths and always spoke positively about the sessions!

Massive thanks angus
